Washington, D.C. — On Tuesday, June 4th, prominent faith leaders will gather on Capitol Hill to deliver over 400,000 prayer petitions advocating for the Right to Contraception Act. The event will highlight the urgent need to pass the Act, which aims to safeguard the fundamental right of families to decide when they are best able to have kids and for women to continue receiving the medication they depend on to avoid serious health complications. In the post-Roe environment, Americans’ reproductive freedoms have faced a judicial and legislative onslaught from the right, including efforts to restrict contraceptives.
