GEORGIA VETERANS

We need to do right by Georgia veterans.

But Kemp's healthcare policies have left them high and dry.

Refusal to Expand Medicaid for Veterans

Brian Kemp has refused to expand Medicaid, despite more than 470,000 falling into the coverage gap where they make too little to qualify for private insurance and too much to access Medicaid—veterans are particularly affected.

Closing the coverage gap could extend health insurance to nearly half of Georgia’s uninsured veterans, expanding coverage to 32,000 uninsured veterans and military spouses in our state.

Making Corrupt Contracts that Hurt Veteran Health

Pruitt Health is under investigation for Medicare and Medicaid violations in every facility they operate in Georgia. However, Kemp took money from Pruitt Health, then awarded them a state contract to care for veterans.
